Superstar Rebecca Leggott Wins top acting award

Our super talented Rebecca has won many awards this year for her storytelling, poetry reading and acting abilities but last night she won the most prestigious award possible- The proactive cup for Dramatic excellence at the Robin Hood outstanding performers evening.

Rebecca constantly works to a high level and never enters the studios unprepared. It really is wonderful to see her hard work paying off. When she performs Rebecca always engages 100% of her body, mind and face. This enables her to create believable, thought-provoking work. I see big things in this little girls future. Her teacher Miss Ruth, who works with Rebecca weekly on festival and LAMDA work adds "A massive well done to Rebecca for receiving an outstanding drama award and the Robin Hood outstanding performers concert. Rebecca works extremely hard every week in her LAMDA lessons and at the age of 13 is about to take her bronze verse and prose exam! Rebecca is committed to developing as a performer and is currently taking acting, verse and prose and public speaking exams. Rebecca commits to learning her pieces and theory questions and is eager to gain more knowledge of LAMDA and how to progress in voice work and acting. We are all extremely proud of you well done!"

Mum Lisa Leggott was also very proud of her incredible daughter's achievements, commenting "We are delighted for Rebecca to win this amazing award! She absolutely loves drama, she works so hard and really deserves this! We are all super proud!"
